There is something inside each of us yearning for the right ‘language,’ the precise instrument; a method we can ride – to explore, process & express through- so much so that the process itself becomes energizing, passionate, a reason unto itself to continue practicing. Finding and practicing this instrument can return us to our wholeness, our fullness, our power and our ability to to feel love, connection and joy. It may even show us our gift, our ‘giveaway’ or singular ability to give back to our family, our community, our world.
Each one of these wellness experiences offers this opportunity. I invite you to experiment with what works for you- maybe you have one method, maybe you have many, that ignite you, inspire you to explore, divine and to grow fully into your potential- fully into your aliveness.
The question is-
how do you want to live your life?
In every moment
you are
being and becoming-
breathe into it
breathe it into being

Mindheart Healing Arts
[/karma_builder_content_box][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Cea uses the grounding and comforting element of hot river stones, sound, scent, techniques from a number of traditional energetic healing modalities and your own intention to help you relax and to release thoughts, emotions and beliefs that are not helping you. Clients describe these sessions as deeply relaxing, and are often able to let go of negative feelings or states such as anxiety, fear, depression, sadness, pain and resentment. They often gain insight into the cause of their suffering and direction in how to remediate the issue(s). Clients have reported recovering from ‘permanent’ nerve damage pain, significant increase in the speed of recovery from physical injuries, cancer, illnesses, and increased physical, mental and emotional comfort regardless of the issue. Most clients leave their sessions deeply relaxed, rejuvenated and ‘clear’ with a sense of peace, optimism and well being.
Having a MindHeart Healing Arts session is an effective way to increase energy, release stress, resetting your body and mind to ‘relaxation response,’ allowing your body’s self healing and maintaining systems to do their jobs optimally. When you are in a ‘stress response’ state, which we often are, your body’s natural self healing functions cannot do their jobs. Your quality of life and your heart matter more than you may think. Giving yourself the gift of support during difficult times has a way of rippling into your relationships and the lives of those you love in positive ways by giving you increased energy and inner resource to handle challenges in ways you are happier with. This is a welcome way to allow safe and sacred nurturing into your life.

Feeding My Fire Mini-Retreats & Workshops
[/karma_builder_content_box][vc_column_text]
Each Feeding My Fire mini-retreat and weekend workshop is different, but the premise is the same. We each have a fire – a light deep in our bellies that motivates us, energizes us, inspires us, gives us power and moves us to right action.
When we are overwhelmed, depressed, sad or anxious our fire is only a flicker- barely there. When this happens we need to feed our fire. If we are feeling exceptionally low energy, we will need one to one counselling support to build it back to a bigger, stronger fire. Once we have re-established our fire, we can sit in the glow and comfort of it, but if we don’t feed it, just like a real fire, it will dwindle again.
This is why Feeding My Fire mini-retreats (1 day) and weekend retreats (2 days) were developed. These multi-faceted experiences begin by gently bringing us back to our core, re-connecting, exploring, processing, releasing, integrating and regenerating. They involve mindfulness, gentle yoga, movement, tracing music into motion, dance, nature and other expressive arts such as creative writing and art-making (drawing, pastels, paint, clay, batiking…).
These feed the 5 aspects of Self: our physical, mind, essential self, creative and social selves. Feeding My Fire retreats and workshops facilitate a well balanced experience that can work to re-set you, if you have become exhausted, imbalanced or are suffering caregiver fatigue, which is common as mothers (or fathers) in our multi-tasking society. This experience can remind your body of what healthy balance, self nurturing, connecting and running with your deeper soul self feels like.
It can help bring the roses back into your cheeks: to relax, be in the moment, laugh, play… take in the beauty around you. This process can help you soften and open to something bigger- connecting and feeling compassion for yourself and those on the journey with you – rediscovering the awe and intrigue of your inner world- realizing you don’t have to do it alone. It can help you to fall deeply in love with life with all it’s imperfections, allowing this to carry you warmly through even hard times, loss and change.
Attending to your fire will reward you with more stable positive energy, motivation and mood, giving you the ability to be being the person you want for the people you love, your work, and yourself – living the life to which you aspire.
This is an adventure, following where your wilder, more instinctual soul self wants to lead
“Thank you soooooooo much for the workshop. It was amazing. Truly. I felt buoyant and wonderful when I got home- loved all aspects. And you are an amazing facilitator- so calm and open and beautiful.” J. N., Counsellor, Paint & Presence Workshop, Kamloops, BC

Chakradance
[/karma_builder_content_box][vc_column_text]
Moving meditation to light your inner fire
Using the age old wisdom traditions of the chakra system, rhythm, sound, intuitive movement & dance, mindfulness meditation and mandala art-making, Chakradance connects you with your deeper soul self.
Dancing the seven chakras is like dancing into seven different inner landscapes, each with its own lessons and meanings. We explore our instincts, sexuality, and power, how we love and communicate, our intuition and our spirituality. Dancers describe being energized, intrigued, experiencing shift and clarity, as they explore, process and express through the music & their bodies. Chakradance is an intriguing, healing and fun way to increase your range of movement and physical fitness. While the process is carried along by world rhythm and music that inspire exploration and movement, facilitating working through and shaking off unhealthy patterns, the roots of Chakradance are based in Jungian psychology and archetypes.
Cea Winter, RCC, certified Chakradance facilitator, Mindfulness Expressive Arts therapist and healing arts practitioner, leads groups in the safe and inspiring space of the Shimmering Tree Studio. For more details, go to at http://www.chakradance.com/facilitator-details/cea-winter

Mindfulness in Motion
[/karma_builder_content_box][vc_column_text]
Mindfulness and its life enhancing benefits can infiltrate our lives- moment by moment. After all, what are most pleasurable and memorable are often our ‘flow’ or heightened awareness moments.
By practicing mindfulness in motion, you begin to see how you can have these fully alive nourishing moments as often as you remember throughout your day. Life is often humdrum because we have become so over-stimulated and ‘in our heads’ that we dial down our senses and body awareness so that we aren’t as overwhelmed. We can reclaim the calm, the beauty and the pleasure of everyday sights, sounds, tastes, smells and textures by actually being in our bodies- in this moment.
Practicing mindfulness in motion can also be our saving grace in times of challenge, making us more immune to stress and more resilient in the face of life’s inevitable challenges. The latest research has found that practicing mindfulness increases regional gray matter and connectivity in the brain in areas associated with learning, memory, attention, emotional regulation and perspective taking. It has a positive impact on reducing the symptoms of stress– anxiety, depression, anger, negative mood states, substance cravings as well as improving immune system functioning, stress-related medical conditions, and ADHD. Mindfulness actually increases healthy cell life, preventing DNA breakdown (Siegal, Mindsight). Practicing mindfulness in practical and pleasurable ways throughout your day is a simple and effective way of being that can improve mental functioning, emotional well-being, physical health and overall quality of life.
Cea offers mindfulness methods that are part of her personal practice and training: informal, formal, walking, yoga, exploring through music, dance, body inspired art.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1159″ img_size=”160×160″ alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”514″ img_size=”160×160″ alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”289″ img_size=”160×160″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]

Cocooning
[/karma_builder_content_box][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Being and Becoming
Cocooning is creating a nurturing still time away from the rush and pressures of our daily lives to give energy to being and becoming our full selves.
In the loft of the clay cob studio, up a driftwood ramp, is a cozy, comforting, sacred ‘cocooning’ space. This overlooks the lake. It is here that you can consciously take a break from daily demands and allow yourself to ‘let down’ on a turkish daybed, meditate, read, make yourself a cup of tea, relax in a hammock or on the beach, hike, giving yourself the space and time to just be.
Once you’ve had the opportunity to still, process and begin to rejuvenate, your creativity can begin to flow- nurturing and strengthening your core being, feeding your soul. Bring a musical instrument, art, crafting or writing tools, a creative project. To deepen or provide grounding and direction to your experience, you may add a personal counselling, trauma therapy, mindfulness expressive arts therapy, MindHeart healing arts or a Mindfulness in Motion session to your Cocooning package.
Cocooning is about ‘being and becoming’ – honoring yourself, your needs, your whole self and recognizing you deserve the time and space to slow down, rejuvenate, process, integrate, heal, explore, express and grow more fully into the wild, passionate, gifted (even if you don’t know how yet) powerful being you are. Discovering who you are becoming (someone you love more and more), what feeds your inner fire, gives you energy, passion, your ‘giveaway’ gift, leading you to deeper purpose, satisfaction and joy in daily living.
Cocooning is giving yourself time and space for transformation
Cocooning available Simple Full day or Simple Half day as well as with a package with other offerings to support your process.
